1,017 pipes arranged into 18 ranks (sets) of pipes,

Great and Pedal Principals, Swell Trumpet, and Pedal Subbass are of quite large scale and bold voicing, giving the audience the sense of a real pipe organ when it is played loudly.  The various flutes are colorful and contrasting in character.  Celeste uses tapered pipes of fairly large scale, giving it the character of a Flauto Dolce when played alone, while the Viole is of normal string character.

Certain of the Pedal Principal and Subbass and Swell Bourdon pipes are from the Pilcher organ, revoiced, rebuilt, and on new windchests.  We used variable scaling on the Principal and Flute ranks in order to emphasize different ranges of the keyboard for different voices.  In general, the ensemble increases in strength toward ends of the keyboard, especially for the right hand.
